01. Workshop on Methods of Data Collection in Research

Workshop on "Methods of Data Collection in Research" was organized by IPHA West Bengal State Branch with the support of the Department of Community Medicine, IPGMER, Kolkata, as part of the pre-conference workshop of WBIPHACON 2025 on April 29 at IPGMER, where 50 registered delegates, including PG medical and nursing students, MPH students, and faculties, learned about various quantitative and qualitative data collection methods and processes.

02. Workshop entitled "Keeping Vaccines 'Fit': Essentials of Cold Chain"

IPHA West Bengal State Branch and Medical College, Kolkata, jointly organized a hands-on workshop titled "Keeping Vaccines 'Fit': Essentials of Cold Chain" on April 30, 2025. The workshop covered recent updates from the Routine Immunization Handbook through demonstrations and role-playing exercises.

03. Workshop on "Managing Outbreaks: Practitioner's Approach"

IPHA West Bengal State Branch, in collaboration with AIIH&PH, organized a workshop on managing outbreaks. Over 30 senior residents and faculty attended sessions covering investigation, field planning, and biosecurity using interactive tools like Epi Collect.

04. World No Tobacco Day observation

World No Tobacco Day was observed on 31st May 2025 at CNMCH. The program included a quiz, poster presentations, and expert talks on tobacco cessation and the clinical effects of smoking on lung health.

05. International Day of Yoga (2025)

Observed on June 21st, 2025, at IPHA Bhawan in collaboration with Banchbo School. Expert training was provided to students and members, emphasizing the role of yoga in disease prevention.

06. ALLARM, allergy and airway meet

Held on July 26, 2025, in Coochbehar, this meet focused on respiratory education, spirometry interpretation, and the "One Airway, One Disease" concept for 60 medical delegates.

07. Observation of World Breastfeeding Week 2025

A collaborative event at Medical College Kolkata focused on "Invest in breastfeeding, invest in future." Included panel discussions busting myths and a quiz for nursing students.

08. Observation of National Nutrition Month

Held on 10th September 2025 at IDBG Hospital, focusing on antenatal counseling, breastfeeding techniques, and complementary feeding for nursing personnel and mothers.

09. Observation of National Nutrition Month 2025

Collaboration with NRS Medical College featuring expert talks on climate-resilient diets and a debate on modern diets affecting adolescent health for 120 delegates.

10. Observation of National Nutrition Month 2025 (JIMSH)

NUTRIPOT 2.0 at JIMSH Budge Budge used a "fun learning" approach for medical students to simplify nutrient calculations, ending with an awards ceremony for 22 teams.
