Message from President, IPHA WB State Branch

Dear Members and Colleagues,

It's my pleasure to share with you the highlights of our activities over the past six years and give you a glimpse of what's in store for the future. Over the last six years, IPHA West Bengal has worked tirelessly to promote public health and advance the cause of preventive and social medicine. We've organized numerous conferences including National IPHACON 2023, workshops and training programs, and have been actively involved in various public health initiatives. We have released research grants to several young Medicos in the past few years.

As we look to the future, we're excited about our upcoming programs, including our annual conference and public health awareness campaigns. We're committed to continuing our work in promoting public health and making a positive impact on our community. Thank you for your support and participation in our endeavors."

Annual State Conference

Branch conducts annual state conference, bringing together public health professionals from across the country to exchange views on key organizational issues, challenges, and opportunities for the betterment of the profession and society.

Workshops & CMEs

Various workshops and CMEs are conducted throughout the year to update PGTs and public health professionals on recent trends and skills, and to help them achieve academic excellence.

Health Day Observations

Branch observes many national and international public health days with great enthusiasm. These occasions help raise awareness on key public health issues, also promote community participation and professional engagement.

Community Health Camps

The Branch conducts several free community health camps under the banner of IPHA to provide accessible healthcare services and promote health awareness.
